Everyone dreams big and aims high on a new car purchase, there's no harm in doing that, but you have to be realistic at some point.

A cast iron block 6 cylinder will be a big long heavy motor, will completely ruin the handling of the car with all that extra weight up the front, not to mention that you will need a whole new custom firewall recessed to fit the motor.

A KA motor is done to death because it works. It's all well and good to say you want to be a pioneer with an engine conversion to be different, but in doing that, the costs add up really quickly especially if you have to pay someone else to do the work.

The amount of info available for a KA swap is endless, people have parts available for them, and it should be a straight forward bolt in job for you. Plus parts are cheap!
