Mopar-Datsun
I was going through my pics and can't remember if I ever posted these. This is how I put Miata seats in my 620. I'm not very good at this type of thing, but hopefully this helps someone. 3 Quote Link to comment
2wheel-lee
I was thinking of putting these in my standard cab, but I'm concerned about space. How thick are those seats at the height just below the rear window? Quote Link to comment
Mopar-Datsun
I sold the truck a couple years ago. The height was good. Pretty close to stock. Maybe just a little taller. Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
Seat back thickness is WAY too thick. You lose at least 2" of space. At least! You can carve foam out of the seat and make more room, but you never get it all back. Tried that. Removed them, and I'm only 5'10. Quote Link to comment
2wheel-lee
I'm about 5'11". The stock bench goes up to just under the body protrusion under the rear window. But because the way it sits in there, there's about an inch or so between my back and the protrusion. Any good recommendations on bucket seats that are thin in that area just below the back window? I'd kind of like to have a head rest, of sorts, so my head won't hit the rear glass. I love these. as the seat tucks just under the protrusion: 3 Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
I am 6'1" I put BMW Z3's in my standard cab 620. It was not a direct fit, but with some mods its doable. Mine is not a daily driver, but when I do drive it its more comfy then the stock bench. Quote Link to comment

distributorguy
Another plentiful option would be MGB seats with the headrest removed. Early style use a rubber diaphragm under the seat cushion and sit very low. Quote Link to comment
