Mattscav000
So my 720 was at a very good height to me and i scraped something really hard and it bent the part where the torsion bar bolt is and so i had no choice but to remove both torsion bars completly which SUCKS! I cant put them back i because its totally bent/broken off so what should i do? Put bumpstops in? New here so be nice haha 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Without a picture of the damage, I'll have to guess this is what was bent.... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/35564-torsion-bar-compatability-i-searched/. Remove them, hammer back into shape and replace them back in the truck. You need torsion bar support for proper handling. You can't drive on bump stops and shouldn't or your tires become the suspension. Basically you are riding on air filled rubber balls. Bouncy as hell. Truck needs to be raised. 1 Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
I have a complete torsion bar setup, PM me if interested. But you should post pictures to give us a better idea of what you'd need to do, but you need your torsions or you'll do even more damage.... Broken oil pan. 1 Quote Link to comment
Justin Berni
that truck is probably all over the road.... Bend them back in place, and reindex them when you put everything back together so it doesnt happen again. 1 Quote Link to comment
