It goes on before the windshield, so is tucked under it. There are metal rod 'stays' suspending it from side to side. It's beyond me how it's done but it is do-able.

Perhaps its possible to undo it from the rear first and just let it hang by the windshield ,should be able to fit the "dynamat" then.

Hell yeah. Roof gets hot in summer, will it stick? Does much sound get in through the roof?

Would love to do the insides of my doors.

It should stick ,so long as you use butyl based and not asfalt based material.

And i live in norway so the temperature during summer rarely exceeds 30c degrees, so even if the sun is baking on the roof it should stick.

At first i wasnt thinking about doing the roof at all, but after a little research ive found many sources sayin there is alot of road noise coming trough the roof.

Im going to order this bulk pack i think

And do the entire floor ,doors and roof.

The "stays" are called bows.  They come as straight steel rods with the ends bent in S curves.  Slip the rod into the pocket on the roof side S curve down, flex it like a longbow and slip the S curved ends into the slot or hole in the sheet metal over the door. There is probablt a depression into which the top of the S curved end snaps to hold it vertical.  Go on to the next one, etc.

It is not that sound comes in through the roof so much as sound transmission through the metal from the rear and sides.  No need to cover the entire inside of the roof either.  25% coverage in the center to reduce panel vibration, then a layer of closed cell foam works wonders.

For you doors, get some Butyl tape.  Push the butyl tape into the seams top and bottom of the crash bar in the door.  This splits the door into 2 smaller panels reducing the resonant frequency.  Then a few pieces of mat just above and below the crash bar.

If you can add closed cell foam between the door panel and the door.

Compared to stock the inside of my B210 is fairly quiet.

I was planning on covering the entire floor, door and side panels with butyl mats.

Much like this , but this guy has left holes in the door sides . Im going to leave as few holes as possible :-)
