Saying hello! And THANK YOU!

I've been lurking here ever since I picked up my 620 last November. I've read through at least 100 threads and I have to say I am very thankful for this site and all of the great info! Here's my '76 620. Making slow progress, but it is my daily driver! Hoping in the next 6 months I will move into a house with a garage ( not only to get more work done on the truck, but for my actual work as well!)

The wheels are ultra 164's or something like that. Scooped them off a guy with a dodge.... He's like "those are going on that truck?"

Specs are 17x9 all around, unknown offset

Tires are 205/40

And I have no idea where the seat came from... I thought it was oem!

The truck went through a very traumatic roll-over crash over three years ago.... It sat outside in my friends yard for two years with a cracked windshield and no air in the tires... I scooped it up for $500 and gave her some new life and love. I'll show pics of the passenger side, that's the side that took the most damage

Next step is getting the frame straightened, I got a quote from a local shop that sounded pretty good... Once the frame is straight she's going down another inch or two... I need to tuck rim hahah

the seat is stock on these earlier trucks..that one is just reupholsterd..exactly like mine other then that..2nteds4.jpg..

I have that SAME sonic hanging around somewhere haha. Good to know this is an oem seat! I don't mind it, but I'm 6'3" and I wonder if I'll have more leg room in a bucket seat...

So then u look like this wen u drive..33my5ue.gif

haha.. i think it depends on the bucket seat u get.. i want to go buckets aswell but at the same time the bench is super cool.. im thinking of customizing my bench so i have some more room aswell.. (bad back)

np..yah im guessing it had that curve so the dog leg could have room to wiggle.. even then mine almost hits..im guessing the previous owner of urzz swapped it out..

That's a normal 620 seat used after '73. Previous seats were traditional bench without the notch in them.

The 620 never had a dogleg.

good lookin truck

looks like minimal damage for going on its side

bucket seats should give you more leg room depending on the bucket style though

Thank you! I am loving it!

.... Wait tell you see the front beam on the frame (the part that hit the Boulder)

Here's a pic of frame damage... Well this isn't all of it... Everything needs to come out to get straightened

When I got the truck I thought the motor had to have been damaged... Sure enough, the crank pulley was shattered on the inside and part of it was melded to the crankshaft!
