veru Posted March 29, 2016 Report Share Posted March 29, 2016 hi guys odd one this went over a pot hole and i think its knocked something out, fuse seems fine the hazards work but only on side but no indicators at all, cars a B310 120y appreciate any advise, fuse and flasher unit seems fine havn't checked the stalk yet but i had no issues with it all and seemed solid enough when the indicators worked, its driving me mad i can't take the car out as ive just bought her someone mentioned earth could be the issue? anyone know if this is possible and where to locate the earth under the bonnet im not a mechanic by any standards but can do alittle many thanks guys Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted March 31, 2016 Report Share Posted March 31, 2016 The hazards only work on one side? Neither of the turn signals work? If one side flashes then the bulbs are working on that side, so if the turn signal were working it should flash the same side also. I would say, take the steering wheel off to get at the turn signal switch and stalk. Have a look around. Spray it clean with 'contact cleaner/lubricant'. I've found the grease that was used collects lint and dust over time. Quote Link to comment
