DrRocks0
I'm not sure if I am getting my information confused but I thought I read somewhere that running the rear camber/toe brackets like these and replacing the rear control arm bushings with poly causes an issue with the bushing binding or something. Is that true? The SR has proved to be too much powa for the 48 year old control arm bushings :P Quote Link to comment
510T
Get these: from here http://www.futofab.com/ 2 Quote Link to comment
DrRocks0
Ah ha! Found where that reference came from..These adjusters are designed to be used with the original style rubber control arm bushings or mono-ball bushing replacements. If used with polyurethane bushings, any camber-toe adjustment from stock position will cause the bushings to bind. http://www.futofab.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=78:datsun-510-rear-cambertoe-adjusters&catid=22&Itemid=22 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
If you get the brackets get the spherical bushings. Quote Link to comment
DrRocks0
If you get the brackets get the spherical bushings. I already have the brackets with normal bushings installed. I'm having weird dog walking going on when I accelerate hard. I think the subframe bushings are control arm bushings are wasted. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I would re eplace them all, I did all bushings except the mustache bar and sub frame and I can feel it set into a hard corner. Design products racing makes some good solid mount kits. Quote Link to comment
510T
I like the Whiteline bushings from Australia, link is for the subframe bushings but they make mustache bar bushings as well as most others. http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=W91616&sq=11795 Quote Link to comment
docbainey
TEP makes cross member poly bushings and all kinds of other suspension poly bushings. I particularly like there t-c rod bushing design. I have a set of these to put on after my delrin/aluminum ones give up the ghost http://www.racetep.com/datsunsusp.html never liked using any hard bushings on the mustache bar, like to let it have some compliance, all the torque is handled through the cross member.
