kerleybird
Yeah for sure! The idea is to block it out and make a fit for 68-69 marker lights. Considering the older fenders seem to never pop up on CL lol Quote Link to comment
kerleybird
So bought these yesterday at the swap meet in portland, paid 20$ for them it's actually a bilstein set up for a Porsche 996... But I am going to see if I can't make them work! If nothing else maybe trade for some for the front ;) Quote Link to comment

kerleybird
And agreed photo bucket sucks ass haha Kind of a lame pic but it's crazy to think the coil over in the rear mounts to the small "bolt" that the strut it's self mounts to. Do people just pull the spring out and ride the bump stops? Just curious to see more pics of what people have. And yes I have searched but like ... Spoon feed? Haha Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Yes some people just pull the springs and ride on the bump stops. Quote Link to comment

kerleybird
Hey thanks for the heads up dislexic! I'll check it out, I switched the fuel filter today basically just to reroute a rubber fuel line (since I was there figured I would change it) and checked the plugs . Heres number 1 And here's number 3 2 And 4 looked like number 1... But three was kinda nasty lol Quote Link to comment
Draker
It does look like that one is burning a bit different than the others. Maybe adjust valves and compression test. 2 Quote Link to comment
kerleybird
Valve adjustment for sure! And started having another issue haha The previous owner said he replaced the rear main seal... For some reason.. I'm not to sure about it.. This is AFTER I was going down the road and had Hella smoke in my car. When the PO put the tranny in he didn't use the cover for the flexplate and I think the rear seal is blowing oil out and hitting my exhaust. Looks like the 5 speed is going in before canby... At least the weather is nice ha 1 Quote Link to comment

kerleybird
So here's some pictures of what had actually happened. Get your barf bag ready on the PO's "fix" So here's my hood After it kicked itself into reverse and hit that guys car I ran out and put it in drive to get it off and it took off and I was like hanging into it out of the window lol it was fucked anyways it tapped a pole so have to fix this too. This is where it hit the most luckily it didn't hit my tailight This is where it starts getting nasty Yes that is spray foam Yup And this is where I left it for now. Those rear quarters are shot.
