UTES? Are these parts for mostly RHD models

I only ask because I assumed that the wiper arms I bought on Ebay were going to fit my ('79 620) pickup. They ended up coming from overseas to here in Oregon and were for right hand drive (RHD) models only.

Is the term Ute a red flag. I now need a blinker/Hi-Lo Beam switch and the part I'm looking at includes the term ute. I'm hoping this is an either/or (universal) type part? Also how to tell if this switch is also going to control my Hi/Lo headlight beams or for turn signal indicators only?

Thanks very much!

Lockleaf,

Thanks for the Ute description. I suppose only a few Ute parts are Right Hand Drive (RHD) specific, such as my naive/faulty wiper arms purchase. Do you know if a Ute speedometer would be reading miles per hour or metric?

Thank you!

Yes, I believe they use KM in Australia, not mph.

Wiper switch will not be something you want rhd likely. Rhd cars mount them on the opposite side of the steering column from Lhd.
