Tdatsun1971 Posted March 6, 2016 Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 All, I have taken the rear extension housing off my tranny to replace leaking paper gasket. When I took the housing off I did not see where the strike rod was in the shift fingers. I dont want to guess its position and button the trans up. I was pretty sure I had it in 1st gear when I took the housing off. Thanks in advance for your help. Quote Link to comment
Tdatsun1971 Posted March 6, 2016 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 Ok, i got this one. I pushed the top shift fork forward. This aligns the fork pockets. Which is neutral. Place strike rod in the slot.. LOl answered my own question. 3 Quote Link to comment
