I couldn't find a Datsun for $150, but I did find this...

A 1979 toyota sr 5. It needed a $400 ei module, that I had laying around, so I got it running. Hunter, my son, wasn't as good with a stickshift as I believed, but with a quick lesson, he drove it home :). It had a parasitic drain that I chased out today, opted to put in a killswitch instead of wiring it to the ignition, like it's supposed to be, bc the slider lock is gone, and the passenger door has a big hole you can reach through to unlock the door, and any key will unlock the drivers door.

The fuse block is toast, and I need to get back to replace it. I did make some temporary jumper wires to get the brake lights working, and it's road ready now, though.

Had him over and replaced the fuse block, in a big hurry, so he could get to work on time, so no pics, but I did get all the gauges and warning lights working. Pulled the toggle, and the brake jumper wire, to run through the stock wires. I'll get some pics of it when I get him back by to set him up with a breakdown kit, and a good spare tire. Hopefully, we have time to detail it too. ...considering we need to DEQ it still. Any trouble after I tune it, and sea foam it, I will be welding a new cat in. ...of course, i'm hoping it goes straight through, there's a few other things that need attention too. Wait 'till I tell him he owes me some hours, and have him help me with my 521 :)
