sell me those wheels if you dont like them

You got it.

Hey guys, what is the deal with this grille? I have the stock one and I prefer the stainless trim around the headlights so its going back in. What does it come from? looks like it was painted black. Not digging the HID headlight look, but they work really well.

From what I can see looks like a later model 620 grill. They had two variations, buckets with trim rings and one that looks like the one you have as best I can tell. Lighting isn't the best and the black painted grill ain't helping any

Lol you really think he would tell anyone, ahh yes Mr. Peterson I was taken a piss and everything got dark like there was an eclipse, when I look back to see what was making the shade when WHAM!! Cock hit me right in the face. I don't know whose it was but we could match up the bruise.

you assume i have any fucks

Yep, 78-79 grille.

The 72-77 grille is the one you (and me) like.

What size tires on those rallys?

205/55/15, but they are some off-brand Chinese and a couple of them have signs of dry rot/cracks in the sidewall - so they are kinda toast.

Thanks^. Im scamming a lot of ideas from your build!

They are old school Recaros. I have to have the backs almost 90 degrees and slid all the way back and Im still cramped...and I'm 5" 8":

recaros_zpsoruwdpca.jpg

I went to the local Carrier dealer today and picked up my new A/C unit and coil. All the warehouse guys came out to check out the truck. I was kinda embarrassed.

FWIW: if you are thinking about "shaving" your bed hooks off, I'd advise against it if you are going to use the 620 as a truck.....

Yanked the Grant GT steering wheel...

wheelb4_zpswvntzv8r.jpg

And installed this '74 Datsun 260Z wheel I got on the Bay of E:

wheelaft_zpsbl9audco.jpg

Much easier low speed steering now!

.

Edit: thought it would be a little closer to the dash, but because it is dished...it ends up being the same distance.

One thing that bothered me from the get-go was the truck was waaaay too loud. Its almost embarrassing in the city. So I took it to the muffler shop this weekend and yanked the muffler and installed a Walker turbo with a 8" Cherry Bomb glasspak as a resonator and ran the tip all the way to the back. It sounds soo much better now and I'm not sucking in exhaust fumes with the windows down at a stop light. The old exhaust dumped right before the rear wheel on the drivers side:

Well, the phone is like 2 feet away from the exhaust tip.

It is 10X quieter than before the muffler/resonator swap. Because the exhaust runs all the way out the back now, it is much quieter in the cab and it does not really growl until about 3000 RPM. It's a KA24DE motor.

I love it.
