Got the drivers side power lock installed and wired up. After some fiddling, it works great.

I was really having a hard time figuring out how to run the wires into the door. I saw what Redeye did so I just copied him  B) . Why reinvent the wheel??

The cool thing with the Gallotech keyless system is the proximity sensor, so if I have the keyfob on me when I walk up to the truck it unlocks the doors when Im about 3 feet away. I ran out of time and will do the passenger side next.

While the dash was apart I took the opportunity to install my new radio, a Retrosound Hermosa. It looks old school with twin shafts and push buttons, but it has bluetooth, USB, RCA's and a lot of adjustments. I modified the factory radio plate and it fits pretty good.

It comes with screen protectors that give it the vintage AM radio look. The first set I tried look too Chevy, so I'll swap them out for one of the others.

Next up is the Amp and speakers. I saw this in an older post, it is an 8" sub with a built in 75w x 2ch amp....it was discontinued, but a found a new one on Ebay. fits nicely behind the seat and while I had everything apart I made provisions for the power and RCA cables. So in the theme of "while you are at it"... I'll be pulling the seats to run everything, so might as well add the deadening and carpet kit.

Damn I took to long on the retro sound installation on mine ... I just thought about using the original radio bezel too .. Glad it does look nice

Truck was really running like dogshit the last couple of months. Major bogging and stumbling. Replaced the MAF and now it runs great! Im stoked. Couldnt get the redeye MAF bracket to fit because of my inlet tube, but it looks like it will make a good hookah pipe holder!

I also tucked the vacuum line for the brake booster along the firewall with a 1/2" aluminum tube.

Truck has been running like shit for the last couple of months. It would run great for about 15 or 20 minutes, but then would not idle and start coughing and stuttering. I Replaced the IACV, plugs, wires, cap & rotor.  No luck.

Turns out that the new to me "rebuilt" MAF from RockAuto was bad...POS. I sprung for a brand new MAF from Nissan. Everything is good now. So while I was tracking down the problem, I picked up on a few air leaks in the intake piping. So I sprung for some new carbon fiber intake pipe (because I like the way it works) and new silicone couplers and T bolts. Now I was able to use my eye-of-redness MAF bracket (with some modifications).

Also - I swapped my old Hella H4 and H1 halogen bulbs for new LED bulbs. By bye old yellow lights.

Old on the left, LED on the right...

Turn signal switch was starting to dis-respect. High beams would come on by themselves and the lever was getting sloppy, so I found a NOS switch on the Bay of E and did the BIN thing.

Brand F-ing new switch!

Now the turn sigs are nice and positive on the detents and the intermittent high beam flashing is gone.

Happy happy.

Thanks. They are the Speedhut 3-3/8" gages. Honestly, there is still some glare on the tach depending on which direction the sun is shining, but not bad.

I dont remember the font, but here are a few pics because of the skrewing by Photobuckit in an earlier post

How does the speedometer read? It says GPS. Do you have the gps unit mounted somewhere?

There is a little GPS antenna ( 1.25" square about 3/8" thick) I have on top of the dash tucked into the corner. Its right next to the prox. sensor for the keyless entry and start. It's not really noticeable (to me). All the rest of the stuff is integral to the speedo.

You have the option to wire the speedo with a separate 12v  memory feed. They say it draws only milliaps and it allows the speedo to boot up quickly instead of trying to locate the satellites every time you restart the car. It works great for me, the display is up and running in less than 3 seconds. It also has a little display screen that you can switch to show time, digital speed, top speed, 0-60, elevation and a few other things that I cant remember.
