datzenmike
Looks like a dull cab to me. Quote Link to comment
wayno
This is what I am going by Mike, I can see the front door handle, but I can not see a back door handle in that photo supplied, that is what makes me think it is one of them California kingcabs. This is what I think it is in the photo below. I don't believe it's one like the photo below. 2 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Rescue Mission! I know this is an ancient thread, but, I FOUND ONE OF THESE TRUCKS CLOSE TO ME! :frantics: My searching for info, of coarse, lead me to Ratsun. Go figure. It is sitting in a field next to another 620. The "mini crew cab" is a '79 and the truck next to it is a '78. Both full of the guys garbage. Quote Link to comment

wayno
They didn't do that good of a job on the modifications made when they built them California kingcabs, it's just a fiberglass extension blended into a hack on the cab, and we don't want to look at the frame mod to close, you all would shit your panties if you knew what the Datsun motorhome frame mod looked like, if the motorhome was not bolted to the frame, I don't think the frame would last long carrying any kind of weight. Jester
I walked up and put my hand on this thing. I'm telling you it is NOT a imported 4 door crew cab. It is, however, a fiberglass kit. The frame extension on this one looked good. And yes I will rescue it if I can. 2 Quote Link to comment
Jester
It is IDENTICAL to the black one Wayno posted above. Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
The black one used to be a dually actually. Belonged to Makya, Steroid bought it and chopped the top off of it. I think that grey bed is going on the double cab he has. :) Quote Link to comment

Jester
That is EXACTLY what is in the field. I think they look cool. What I reeeeeeeally want is a late 720 4 door 4x4. Quote Link to comment
wayno
You best be looking in Australia then, I suppose there could be a chance you might find one in Mexico, the two I seen were not 4X4s. Jester
If I found an actual Datsun crew cab, IT WOULD BE MINE! B) Denmarkboy knows of one of these trucks that is close to him. 2 Quote Link to comment
wayno
I seen two Toyota California kingcabs yesterday, one was a dually version with them really strange very deep dish dually rims that are one piece, the other had super single tires, both had dually fenders. The 79 was the true dually version, the 82 had much narrower dually fenders with a really wide tires, that one I believe is for sale, he questioningly said $4500.00 to me, I shrugged and mentioned he should join a Toyota forum. Neither of these trucks had a true dually rearend, they both were 5 lug all around. 1 Quote Link to comment
