datzenmike
If your stock wiper switch isn't working, maybe it's fine and it's the wiper that doesn't work. More information on this would help and maybe get it back to proper running. Quote Link to comment
AIShelby
Wipers on 510 road race car, nothing on steering column. Want to wire to 2 throw toggle switch for Low and high speeds. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
You need a three position switch with on to each side and an off position in the middle or center position. May be called a SPCO or Single Poll Center Off switch. High .. This terminal connected to the Blue/White strip wire. OFF... Common or connected to ground. In the High position the Blue/White wire is grounded. In Low position the Blue wire is grounded. Low .. This terminal connected to the Blue wire. Just splice INTO the 510 switch wiring leaving the switch in the off position. If you disconnect the 510 wiper switch, when the center OFF position is selected the wiper arms will NOT park at the bottom of the windshield. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Often the "street name" for that kind of switch is called an ON-OFF-ON switch. Quote Link to comment
