I believe the '80-'86 tailgate should swap but the earlier may say DATSUN on the back and have an outward facing lip. The '85/'86 are exactly the same. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted February 17, 2016 Report Share Posted February 17, 2016 No market to make it worthwhile. The Nissan dealer probably won't have one left either but you can try them. Ask them to ask all the other dealers. Someone may have ordered one and not bought it and it's sitting in their parts inventory. (very unlikely) Best bet is to find one in a wrecking yard on an old truck. The '85 and '86 will be a match. Earlier might fit but won't match it for looks. Quote Link to comment
