mbunzel
Alright so I did a swap on the truck this past winter and before the swap the brakes worked well, but now they dont seem to wanna work properly. The brakes are properly bled, the master cylinder was replaced and benched bled, the rear shoes are adjusted properly, and both rear wheel cylinders were replaced. At first my pedal was really mushy and you would have to pump it a couple times to get it to slow down, I quickly realized I had forgot to put the oneway valve for the brake booster back into the new hose to the booster. Now with the valve in the pedal is super firm but dosent really slow the truck down like it should, Anybody have any input delt with this before? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Valve is in backwards. Suck on both ends. The one you can suck air through is the side that goes to the booster. intake. Quote Link to comment
mbunzel
does the arrow on the valve point towards the booster? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Naturally I got the direction wrong. Check my last post.... suction side goes to the intake, naturally. 1 Quote Link to comment
