I'm looking forward to the club meeting and cruise on Saturday. I pulled the KA wagon out of dry storage, luckily I bought new wiper blades, definitely need them today. I've got a air dam and some wheels to bring for the swap meet as well, hope to see a bunch of people there.

Glad to hear you'll be joining us with your wagon Nicklepistol, you need to get that other wagon of yours rolling, it's going to be cleaner than skeeter's peter. When you think it's going to be on the road?

I'm looking forward to sliding the dime around a bit and seeing what that head work has done for fun factor. I think were going to have a good group, I've had guys from ratsun, nwdatsuns and datsloco show interest, see you guys tomorrow

That was an interesting run today, I will take the roadster or the work truck next time, the diesel 720 just isn't meant to be driven that way.

I was impressed on how fast your 411 went Andrew, the other 411 had an A block in it, but yours had the J13, very impressed, I didn't think they would move that fast, especially up hill like that.

I figured out my throttle issue, my throttle cable had dropped onto the exhaust head pipe and was getting melted because we were moving pretty darn fast, I ordered another cable today, I also need to think about better front brakes, they got kinda hot.

What a great weekend, great to see some new faces at our meet and cruise, thx to Rueul for heading up the run after the meeting, there was some spirited driving for sure, even found myself pointing the wrong direction once on a tight switchback ooops, nicklepistol as my only witness. Two 410's showed up and had the wheels driven off them, one owned by 13 year old Carson Lum (driven by dad Dave) That does'nt happen every weekend! Good to meet Wayno and his diesel truck. I think we have the best venue in the Datsun community for our meeting and hope to keep building momentum in out local Datsun community. I'm thinking we should have a BBQ soon at one of our meetings??

Phone has been acting up and I lost most of the pics. This is the only one I had and is from when we ate lunch and is missing many of the other vehicles.

Datsuns NW is going drag racing this Sat. May 7th, tracks open and the weather looks like its going to be great! Bring out those Datsuns and enjoy a night at the drags, if your not going to run there is beer and food and plenty to see, I'm going to see if the wife wlil bring out her Audi and see what it turns.

Our monthly meeting will be on the 21st this month 10-1 at the Portland location.

Loren from datsloco is having a cruise on May 15th to silver falls, for details check out his post here on ratsun. We will be heading out with a couple guys to this, everyone is welcome.

I would have enjoyed going to the Drag races Sat, and RDM last night but I've been super busy. Still planning to see you guys at Sykart Tuesday night for some go-karting, I should be able to make it but just barely. Will I be shamed for driving the Z? I know it's 5/10 day but the wagon is parked in the shop and I can't get out there before Tues.

You got that Z running and driving already? Sure bring that thing out, any Datsun's a good Datsun, we can flog those new tires and clutch after karting.

Yeah the Z is running, I even got a trip permit so I can run a few tanks of gas through it before trying to pass DEQ.
