Anonymous Waffle
Ive seen much worse 510's, thats nothing. It would be good to see a 68' saved by someone at least. (I'd take it if I had money, or space, or time) Looks like it was originally white on white? Second look, maybe a bamboo tan car. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Don't part it.. that's basically sending to the grave! What are your plans? Quote Link to comment
Rick-rat
I think that 68 will buff out nicely Quote Link to comment
Dream510
Lots of locals! I believe it was bamboo tan, I was digging through the layers of paint and the bamboo tan is definately there. I was honestly thinking of parting it out draker, you guys gave me a change of heart though. I would love to save it and keep it as a slow moving project. The really shitty part about it is that it has no title. Maybe a lien sale will help? Here are some pics that might surprise you haha Yup, we rolled over. The hitch was ripped off and tossed the 510 somewhere else. We rolled over around Medford and we left the accident with out a scratch. Right as we were about to roll over I thought I wasn't going to get out of that alive! Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
when was that? Quote Link to comment
Rick-rat
Glad no one was injured, accidents are always a bummer Quote Link to comment
Draker
Regarding the title, is it just lost? Just go to the dmv with a bill of sale. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Also proof the car was not ready to die. Dont kill it now. Either you or someone else should save it for sure! Land Rover however..... they are all minutes from death. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dream510
The accident happened about 1 1/2 years ago, I wasn't driving the land rover. The 510's rear tire blew and we started fish tailing, started losing control and ended up crashing. I don't really have any idea of what happened to the title. Do you think the DMV will help me out if I show up with a bill of sale? Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Yes, just apply for lost title at the dmv, I highly recommend the Junction City one. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Bill of sale signed off by the previous registered owner will get the deal done. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Jc dmv is definitely the way to go. No lines. Quote Link to comment

Dream510
Forgot, hehe Well, I'm kind of screwed on that part. The car hasn't been registered since 1989. I found the name of the last registered owner and found his number online. Dude lives or lived in willow creek, CA. 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
dude your all good its out of the system...it should be easy to get a title for that 1 Quote Link to comment
