DanielC Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 My first thought, U-joints. Second thought, a chipped tooth in the rear, or front axle. If four wheel drive, can you put it in four wheel, and drop the rear drive line to isolate the noise some. 1 Link to comment

KoHeartsGPA Posted January 8, 2016 Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 Did you check if the coolant filter has the paper inside?, might have gotten sucked in by the heavy centrifugal force of the water pump and the noise you hear is the sediment bouncing inside the filter housing.....
