cruznude
About 4 tears ago, I had a chance to buy a bra cover made by Le-bra from this guy in New York. He used to live pretty close to me and was selling on ebay. Well, I neve bought it and wish I had. I have a full front spoiler and flares on the front and would like to cover whole front. Flares, spoiler, and about a quarter of the hood. Does anybody have pics of the the bras on their cars? oh yea I have a 620kc. Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
oh yea I have a 620kc. That would help! Now, what year? Quote Link to comment
Dolomite
I'd never do that to a car. I got my first Datsun, the hated 280zx, from my mother whom put bras on every damn car she got. I took the ugly contraption off the instant I got the car, the paint underneath was yellowed while the rest of the car was gleaming white. It took many months of not waxing the yellowed part to get it to bleach out. You have to weigh stone chips vs potential paint damage from the bra. 1 Quote Link to comment
cruznude
yea I thought about the paint damage and such. Just thought it would good though. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I also would NEVER degrade a Datsun car (or truck) by doing this. Hood pins, 'Baby On Board' sign, bumper stickers, hood scoop and curb feelers just as bad. "Give me liberty... or give me stone damage" 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Curb feelers ain't that bad. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Really doesn't protect much that gets stone chips and ruins the look. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
"Baby on Board" is not my Problem! Quote Link to comment
cruznude
thanks Dm, just wanted to see a pic. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Go for it, if you like. I've never thought they enhance any vehicle's good looks. However they are Christmas wrapping on a woman. 2 Quote Link to comment
cruznude
damm, those are nice! No bra for me just really thought maybe back in the day somewhere someone had done it. I seen it back in the 80's. Quote Link to comment

yello620
Car bra's died in the 90's. Let's leave them there. Quote Link to comment
cruznude
yea< just wondering you know Quote Link to comment
Skib
If you want to protect your front from chips run some 3M clear bra (dont get the cheap stuff)Fabric bras also trap dirt and dust which just rubs on your paint if people never take them off and clean under there. 2 Quote Link to comment
cruznude
yea saw a company yesterday, advertising clear wraps over front end etc. might be the way to go. Quote Link to comment
fritzdixxon
Many places that do window tint also apply the 3m stone gaurd, I did see one just bit ago that looked as tho the film had yellowed slightly, it was on a white SUV and there was a noticeable colour difference. Mr.Dean_Yates
I would rather just pick up a little thing of touch up paint. My grandfather used that on his '57 corvette Quote Link to comment
