Wrecking yard probably easier to find and for the same you probably get the side gears and everything else. If the spider (pinion mate) gears are gone the side gears are probably close behind. You might even find a better ratio. Look on the engine tag located on pass side inner fender under the hood hinge for installed diff and ratio. All 4x4 Z24 engine from January '83 on got the C-200 as well as the 2wd Z24 Cab/Chassis option. One tire fire burn outs are the main cause of spider gear failures. Next is low or empty and then lack of oil changes. Quote Link to comment
