datzenmike
Ha ha ha Constant velocity carbs don't have chokes in the sense we understand them. They have what amounts to a choke but it's very different in operation.. About half way down the page.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SU_Carburettor section 7 .... http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Hitachi_Twin_Carb_Adjustment Oh! and here... http://community.rat...s-lots-of-pics/ Quote Link to comment
720driver97
So how hard would it be to start in the winter I live in Minnesota Quote Link to comment
84720FourWheel
Invest in a battery with like 700cca. Because unless you are some sort of carburetion wizard, it's going to take 3 or 4 trys to get her to start, then you're going to have to feather the pedal to keep her running for the next 5 minutes. For winter driving, the stock carb treated me the best. 1 Quote Link to comment
Spiff
If your carbs are in good condition and the choke is functioning as it's supposed to then there shouldn't be any problems firing up an engine regardless of weather... 1 Quote Link to comment
