Whats up to all the datsun fam out there.

My name is K. And i would like to introduce myself and my datsun that has been stored in my garage for about 5 years now, she has been put sitting patiently waiting to shine.

Now i have the chance to get her running and basically turn her into a winter project. I have been a member of Ratsun for a while now but i have been a lurker not really posting or being active.

My Plans for the truck at this moment is to get her running which i dont think will take much, so if your in San Diego and dont mind helping a fellow member out PM me...

I have already started the process of stripping the paint and interior to find that this truck does not have much rust.

The engines a L16 with what seems to be a rebuilt head but i will know further once i crack the valve cover also I think the tranny is a dogleg 5.

Is the middle screw, ground ?

I have changed my oil and cleaned up the engine compartment of all webs.

The oil that was in the truck was good light consistancy.

Next ill drain tranny, and rear end oil. Add new plugs, wires, fluids and try to fire her up to see where we are at.
