Andy_in_SD Posted October 4, 2015 Report Share Posted October 4, 2015 On the 70 (the white one) cut -n- weld is down to the fenders and whatever I find under them. Here's a pic after I pulled the first fender. You can see the rot at the bottom of the post (was hidden under the fender). So all the gets cut out and rewelded with new steel. The fender is rotten at the bottom (the usual spot) and it has a small dent I'll pop out under the headlight. On the 66 (the red one), I need to order a set of valve shims (the flat ones) and exhaust valves. Then the head is completey restored and like new. And of course, today it is raining....
