Dan'lBoone
Recently I refurbished a gauge cluster for a buddy and had to do some board level circuit repair on a burned trace. We installed said gauge cluster today, looking at the old one we noticed the exact same trace burned through. Just wondered if anyone else had come across this issue? This is a picture of said circuit. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
That is post #11 and the ground return for the high beam indicator. Probably is shared with the volt regulator for the temp and gas gauges also? Failure of the high beam indicator isn't common Quote Link to comment
Dan'lBoone
Yeah, so delete this post, ha! That's what I get for not tracing it properly, or at all after a third inspection. Regardless, interesting it's a thing and now I know why I haven't found jack on it. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Hell no. Someone else may have a similar problem. Quote Link to comment
Dan'lBoone
Fair enough. In which case I'll post the pics of the board level repair. Quote Link to comment
