Anonymous Waffle
68' 2 door I found on Craiglist is going for 500 dollars, it has a real bad rear accident, which crumpled half the car, but it can be saveable with alot of work. Someone post the photos, im too lazy, and it wont get enough attention on the craiglist section. The owner claims its a 69, im pretty sure its a 68. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/pts/5237828288.html Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Not worth saving, only good for parts. $100 parts car. /reality Quote Link to comment

q-tip
Damn, shame that thing got so crushed, it might be saveable though, just a lot of work to get it done. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Looks like it has dash and gauges, that's worth something Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Damn, shame that thing got so crushed, it might be saveable though, just a lot of work to get it done. Every. Single. Panel. Is. Severely. Damaged. Or. Missing. You would need a complete, undamaged "parts car" to save this one, so what would be the point? Like performing CPR on a decapitated person. 2 Quote Link to comment

Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Waiting for the510keeper to comment. If he won't touch it, no one should. The cost of getting 68 fenders, side markers, grill, bumpers, rear emblems, and interior trim alone would make this not worth it.... And that's not even touching the body damage. You'd need to have a ridiculous amount of time on your hands, or a ridiculously large amount of money to give to a ridiculously gullible body guy to actually put this car back on the road (I don't even want to know what the frame looks like on this thing). Just reread the ad, the body panels that he claims are "good" aren't even unique to 68s. They should all be the same as those on post decade cars. No way you would pay a premium because this is a 68, and I wouldn't touch any of it with a ten foot pole unless someone had already cut the body panel off for me. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
The plates are worth 300.00 plus by themselves. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Tanker has a point, but that's about the only thing worth money Quote Link to comment

Dolomite
Its crazy times when someone's looking for that much for an incomplete crushed beer can. I paid the same price for a complete, with minor damage and with a pile of spare parts, runner not too Damn long ago. Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
If not badly rusted - racecar using every fiber glass panel you can get Or use bottom to save badly rusted coupe Nanner would get the guy to give it to him for free and then in five years turn down an offer for $1000 1 Quote Link to comment
