Lockleaf
While I like the roadster, I've never been a fan of convertibles. So I decided to see what it might look like with a fastback hardtop on it. The idea (if I ever owned a roadster and built this thing) is that it has a functional hatchback which opens to allow trunk access, or that the trunk lid would be removed and the top would have a frame which locks in to the trunk latch and the hatch would open above that. Since I felt like I could see design cues shared from the roadster to the 240z, I decided to use that roof/hatch for the chop. Stock Chopped Stock Chopped 2 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
It's true DF, very Aston Martin. I thought the same thing. Burduda, that's the only real fastback hardtop ive seen. I think it's very ugly. Way too much 66 cuda going on there. For me it doesn't compliment the shape as well. It was part of my inspiration though. Tr8er- post pics, cuz I don't follow... tr8er
Your version looks better. Ideally the glass would be several inches narrower. For looks. But can't go making custom glass n all. Quote Link to comment
