You see a ton of 510s painted in the BRE paint scheme, not just race cars, but street cars also.

Then I realized, you almost never see that with a Roadster? Maybe one or two race cars, but seemingly never a street car.

I wonder why? Just a thought...

It's your car, just don't ruin it.

It's also not my money, so i'll suggest the most expensive option.

They do seem to be a bit fond of it in Japan...

Try not to think about it so much

"It's like comparing a wooden roller coaster to a modern modern roller coaster. Without a doubt the modern roller coaster is faster, quieter and smoother. But people still love to ride the wooden roller coasters. The sounds, vibrations, jerks and jolts all add to the experience. Sure a wooden roller coaster may not be as fast, but it's sure a fun ride that can equally scare the crap out of you." - Annette

I probably should put this in needlepoint and put it up on the wall.

I see them at Les Cannadays shop... :)

His shop is about 15 miles from me so I get to see all of the Paul Newman Datsuns up close and personal as well as buy parts from him. The 300 zx, the 510 etc... There is also an unbeleiveable load of roadster and up parts.

Been there a few times. Never seen any street cars there.   ^_^

Perhaps that was a while ago. He had some roadsters under rebuild (for customers) last time I was in. As for the newman cars... well they're not quite street cars ....

He had a couple of restorations going last time I was there. But all had their original paint color, not a BRE paint job.

Les moved his shop to South Dakota? Not really a hot bed of Datsun activity.
