S.osolit13 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Share Posted September 1, 2015 we own two one hardtop and one convertible both 2 doors were building the hardtop to a full drag car have a 1970 buick 455 stage 1 engine for it that were rebuilding to full race specs the convertible were keeping the 310 wildcat in and well be a daily cruiser 2 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411 Posted September 2, 2015 Report Share Posted September 2, 2015 The 1970 Buick 455 engine was not built for unleaded gasoline so a careful exam of the valves and valve seats is a must during your rebuild. A 1971 head would be a good swap, already unleaded design and a better flow. These engines were the smoothest V8s I ever drove. 2 Quote Link to comment

S.osolit13 Posted September 3, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 3, 2015 thats a beat! dont see to many around i love the hardtops plus they're the lightest a body cars so with the 455 its gonna be pretty crazy, but yea we got to think what we wanna do with that we were gonna go everything aluminum but thats real expensive haha but ill definitely keep that in mind thanks!
