New member, 3 different Datsuns.

Hello Ratsun!
Here comes a new member from Norway, and my 3 Datsuns.

 

First is my "Lady", a -77 280Z. I think I had her for 16 years now!

 

 

She has ben a little neglected the last years, but now she is at a bodyshop, 

where she will get rid of some rust, get new paint (still same color), and some other upgrades.

 

On a ferry, met a porsche.

 

 

And how I last saw her.

 

 

The Z still has the factory engine, with some updates. (Autronic engine management, ready for more)

It wil probably be turboconverted next year, and further on, I have a RB26 head behind me...   

She has  coilovers, and some other bushings, but I have more to do on the suspension.

 

 

So, my next Datsun, a -76 260C.

Here with my Z.

 

 

When I was a kid, we had a 220C, so I had to get me a Cedric.

First I bought the wheels! Then I found the 260C, and it needed a little work.

New paint, new seat upholstery, an some job on the suspension (need some lowering at front..)

Power steering, windows, electric opening of the trunk and fueldoor...

 

 

Now it just sits outside, and I dont use it much, maybe I just have to sell it...

 

 

Then, my last Datsun, a -83 King Cab diesel (720)

I find it at a farm nearby, where it was parked for ca 10 years!

(the owner was tired of putting snowchains on it, so he bought a new awd pickup)

 

 

How it was when I found it, still with snowchains at the rear wheels.

I put in a new battery, and it started up just fine.

But, it has rust, a lot of it!

In Norway we can deliver old cars for wrecking, and get paid 3000nok for it, so that was the cost of this car.

I don`t have too much plans for it, other than it would be fun to have it roadlegal.

BUT, I think this would have to be a "Ratsun"!

So, some welding have to be done.

First job of rustremoving -

 

 

I think the easyest would have to make a new bed. Have some ideas, but has to fix the bodymounts on the cabin first.

Welcome to Ratsun! Nice selection you have going. What does the Cedric have under the hood?

 

It has the stock engine, and as a 260C, it has a 2,6 liter L6.

My bad...I prefer the Cedric over the Z. But welcomes to the show, anywho.
