Theres 8 weber 32/36's and 5 different plates coming back. For the L datsun motors. Also 32/36 or 38? Ive seen both. And a few twin 38's lately. Quote Link to comment

All the other stuff should be easily sourced in Australia. It's some random fuel fittings, maybe a throttle lever, but you can usually use your own, etc. And for 90% of users, the 32/36 is the best option. datsunaholic Posted August 25, 2015 Report Share Posted August 25, 2015 Doesn't really help if you don't say what the "8 kinds" of Webers they seem to have. I can think of 4 versions- DGV (manual choke) and DGEV (electric choke) with or without idle cut solenoids. Don't get a DF(whatever), it's backwards. Adapter plate is an adapter plate. If it fits one L-series, it'll fit em all. Bolt pattern was the same every year for the 2-bbl downdraft Hitachi or Nikki carb. Quote Link to comment

(Usa guy) 140 + shipping to aus. 32/36 weber filters plate rebuild kit manual choke. Everything i need. Easier to do it this way anyway. Can't find the throttle return spring for sale anywhere. The choke heater doesnt work. Cant get one. The idle cut solo is bipassed. The carb and motor have never been touched. Quote Link to comment

Rims totaled. 10 year old tires. My f150 xlt struggles with the trailer. It still has to tow my 3500 pound 6 wheel drive and 500 pounds of hey for feeding. We never got f trucks or chevys my f truck was a convert. Full fordged steel frame. Heavier dual rear setup. Turn table.. coil overs 31 inch muds. 2 300L fuel tanks 1 200L lpg tank. Also have a 1977 ss torana. Currently at a worth of about 75,000. Insurance for 62,500. Like i said before. I am not used to webers my f truck runs a 7.3L(efi) and my ss a factory 253v8(holly). My other cars are a 2002 bmw. An alfa romeo spider (2002) town car running 17s. 2 tractors a harvester. 3 trailers. 2 trucks..have 300 cows across 4 blocks. Yeah im over extended. I work 7 days a week 4 am to 9 at night. Plus i work part time for a vet locally. Quote Link to comment

All the guys on here running one just made some thing work. They have the right tension, but are pretty long. Another spring I like to use is the return springs off British SU carbs, no, not the Z car SU's. Find a spring for an early MGB. The a9x is on 300k (they built 500 for the public to race them) ss ( low 1000s built) is from 60 to 150k. No torana ever left aus. They also had issues selling 6cyc and 4 cyc models. 90% of the ones ive seen are v8s mine is. Also the slr 5000 (less then 100 known to be left.) a real one will net close to a quarter mill in bad nic. In good nick they get insane prices 1 Quote Link to comment
