New B210 Wagon Owner

New to forum and the world of Datsun, this place is awesome! Bought a 1979 210 Wagon. 1 owner, dings and scrapes but all original and not rusted out. The guy sold me the wagon and 2 additional working engines, one has working transmission attached as well. Also, bunch of interior parts and 2 complete front grill/headlight assemblies one for the wagon and one fits the sedan of that year. So, I could have this wagon for a long time if I maintain it properly. It hasn't been driven since 2012, so I'm dealing with some cracked hoses and intermittent switches and little things. When he rolled it out of the barn, and we put in a new battery, he sat in it pumped gas pedal 3 times, and it fired up first time! No knocking, ticking, etc. I was surprised.

I mainly wanted to introduce myself and get some pics posted. I have been working on removing all the seats, pulled all the carpet and pad, and put in new Stock Interiors brand carpet kit. Also bought some BMW/Audi leather bucket seats to replace the originals, that is NOT working out well so far haha.

I'll start build threads on these projects. The worst task thus far, it was a Florida car and had been tinted in the 1980's. The film/glue stinks so bad and looks terrible in 2015, it's all bubbled and cracked, can't see out the back window, etc. So I have been painstakingly scraping this old glue and tint film from the windows.

A round eye 210! Looks in great shape too. Bet there aren't too many of those in Ohio. I lived for a time in Ontario near you and my new '76 B-210 was rusted away by '80. I got your pictures up but they won't post so had to take them down. Someone here will give you some help posting them so they show.

Great first post, welcome to Ratsun, you have arrived.

Forgive my ignorance, but I don't know what type the engines are...I put them in my garage 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten around to looking at them. The wagon runs great but brakes need worked on, I am  awaiting delivery of brake booster. He gave me 2 complete front grille assembly, one fits wagon one fits sedan, with intact lights and wiring plus a bunch of interior plastic covers and things like that. All in all I paid $2,200.00 which seemed like a good deal to me but who knows, I... like many on here I suspect...can be impulsive when I just have to have something I didn't even know I wanted until I saw it!
