fisch Posted August 22, 2015 Report Share Posted August 22, 2015 So I had some tires mounted and balanced for my 510 and one of the mechanics there asked if I wanted to buy this rear dif. He had a 280 ZX but thought this came from something different. He guessed a 300zx which, I have no idea. It was an extra that he had left over when he sold his ZX and got it with the ZX, and all he seemed to know is it isn't LSD but the past owner did say it has lower gears in it than usual. it is stamped 595 on back. P60 on front case. Could have been a race spare? Mechanic is a VW guy. I always figured if I do a dif it will be a subi one but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something special here. Said it is a paper weight at this point, so he'd sell it cheap. He looked under my car when it was in the shop and thought it looked like a match. Quote Link to comment
