housew
Hey all. I'm looking to make some roll center adjusters for my 510. I have stock 510 steering arms and v6 200sx struts and the boss on the arm and hole in the bottom of the strut match and play nice. Does anyone know the diameter of those? Does anyone know the center to center distance and size of the bolts? I know i can just buy them, but milling them will be more fun for me. I can take my car apart and measure but is the information readily available? I'm guessing from memory its something like 42mm diameter, 110mm apart, and m12. anyone willing to help me out? thisismatt
Isn't the 200sx strut cup larger? It is on the 4cyl 200sx struts. You'll want that to be a tight fit. Quote Link to comment
510T
54mm on top for S12/M30 struts, 40mm bottom for 510 steering arms. Quote Link to comment
housew
thanks all. 40mm to 54 is a LOT of slop. Like over a 1/4 inch in every direction. I don't think I have that much slop. I'll have to take it apart to verify but these dims will at least get me started. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
510T
Here are some photos of my S12/M30 RCA's. Top: Bottom: If the struts you have do not have the larger hole on the bottom they are not S12 struts. Both 4cyl and V6 have the big cup. Quote Link to comment
