Spiff
I _almost_ washed it after washing my motorcycle, but the kids had a waterfight instead. So spent a few minutes staring at the engine compartment trying to think of a few ways to hide the wiring loom when I do the z20e swap... Oh yeah! I forgot, I actually did something; I put the preheater plate on the air cleaner assembly in summermode, was actually that hot here now... Life in the north... :-D 1 Quote Link to comment
Element103
I sprayed some WD-40 on a squeaky door hinge...real overachiever here lol. And I replaced a few vacuum caps that blew off and screwed with my idle. Being a n00b, I foolishly thought that vacuum caps would always hold negative pressure. Y'know, vacuum, right? Nope. 1 Quote Link to comment

kb25t17
Finishing up the interior cab renovation. Changed from badly UV damaged brown out to sharp looking black and grey with new deluxe seats. Previous owner put in a nice pioneer radio with HD tuner but it was a terrible hack job of an install. I redid it so that so it now looks professionally done. I also ordered an optional cable set that was available for that model of radio that enables it to have a front outlet with USB and aux in. Now wiring in an antenna amplifier as well. My 720 was converted into a Sunrader motorhome when it was brand new. Today I am working on cutting two panels that will be vinyl covered. Those will cover the ragged edges at the rear of the cab wall where it was cut open for access to the coach that was put onto the back. Fussy work, making the patterns and then creating the layered panels but it should come out very nice. Original install over that surface was shag carpet. As I will sometimes travel with my cats I can't have carpet on the walls because they would turn it into a built in scratching post. My throttle cable is stuck. That happened during changing out the old vinyl flooring for new. Just a coincidence kind of situation but a lucky one as far as I am concerned. I am certainly glad it did not happen while I was driving somewhere. I ordered a new cable, it should arrive on Monday. So I guess that replacement it is next up on the list of what I will be doing. 1 Quote Link to comment
