datsunaholic
Your brake controller didn't come with instructions? For switched brake you use the brake light wire (the one off the brake light switch at the pedal arm). The one that is downstream of the switch, not the one that's always hot. They're usually the same color so you need a voltmeter or test light to determine which one is switched and which one is always hot. For brake "power" (to the trailer) you need to run new wires back from the controller to the switch- there's nothing there already unless someone already wired it.. For main power to the controller you need a new wire AND a circuit breaker to the battery. Quote Link to comment

kelowg
Should B an adjuster on controller. that and maybe loosen up trailer shoes. Quote Link to comment
btd19m
its a twin axle cattle float with 4 disks plus hubs (when locked it prevents rolling back e.g. hill starts) the brakes on the trailer where rewired not long ago ill check that out. snapped off the hitch a few days back so the wires might be touching or like my 720. no earth anywhere and everything has to be hardwired Quote Link to comment
