the510keeper
This fucking guy, found another pic. look closely there is a strap to a post, and a cumalong to pull that welded bracket and well it works great. 3 Quote Link to comment
Dav
Got a look at the front end - one spring was different than the the other - so it looked a little cock-eyed. Put in the same on both sides. It is sitting as high as it can be right now with the struts it has. Will lower the front to match the back. The back was too low - then too high - cut the springs and now just right. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dav
Understand. Been trying - pics seem to be a mystery to me today - rebooted phone too. Seems it's me tho. My finger can't press the screen hard enough to get them to "paste". Ha! 1 Quote Link to comment

Hoping to register it tomorrow at a place that works with dmv - no waiting in line for hours. I got a 1969 sticker for the plate so will prolly b ok. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dav
Drove it to the registration place in Rancho Cordova and started process then drove it home - that's the last picture in the photo bucket. Twenty years of dirt came out of everywhere for first twenty miles. Phone still won't post pics directly so it's in the photo bucket. Thanks Abe! Figured out the trunk lock - it had been screw drivered. Took lock apart and filed down first two key tumblers so they wouldn't hang up the lock. All locks work with one key now. Took an hour. Put in a 720 hood release cable cause the original was broken, stuck, and frayed. 1 Quote Link to comment
