2dat0z9
I got an electronic distributor out of a 77 280z. I was wondering if I can use it on the l20 I'm building if I swap the 6 point reluctor for a 4 point out of a b210 electronic distributor. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
You will need the parts from a remote igniter EI dizzy. The 4 point reluctor and matching pick up coil only used on '78 vehicles, so '78 620, S10 (200sx and A10 (HL510). The L20B reluctor is 22115- N6100 and pick up coil 22229-N5800 The breaker plate that these parts bolt to is the same for the L28 and the L20B dizzys. 1 Quote Link to comment
2dat0z9
Tanks mike. I got the remote igniter and distributor from the 280z. I was just wondering if it would work if I put the 4 point reluctor from my b210 electronic distributor. Both distributors are almost the same. The only differences I see is the reluctor and the shaft on the b210 distributor is about 1/4 inch shorter. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There are a lot of similarities between A and L series dizzys once you remove the drive gear. But the pick up coil is a different part number .... it might still work though. I listed the L20B pick up coil because it should fit. Quote Link to comment
