orangie
Had I known about this engine before I probably would have put this in instead of an SR20det. The rear wheel drive version of this engine comes in a Cadillac CTS, Colorado and Camaro. It's an all aluminum 60 degree v6 with direct injection. Depending on which car you get it from, the horspower rating is something like 320. Because it's a 60 degree engine, it's fairly narrow, but tall and height is not really an issue with the 620. orangie
yes, the caddy twin turbo ....bucks! The 320 horse from the camaro or CTS can be had for 1500 on ebay minus the accessories. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Direct injection must have a hell of an electronics package to run it. Quote Link to comment
Ericthenorse
Yeah... and that package is tied into every system in the car.. Wiring would be a nightmare.... They are awesome motors... Just not sure it is worth the effort.. Unless there is an aftermarket fuel management option....... You know... The old Ford V6 is one of the narrowest arround... :) Quote Link to comment
Danfinny
They are also dual over head cam so they are wider than you might think. but a great motor non the less. would be cool to see that swap Quote Link to comment
