Can someone tell me how to remove the traverse bolt from the LCA's bushing, please.

I can not get the large nut on the LCA side of the arm to turn at all.  Must be overlooking something.

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean,  "I can get the large nut on the LCA side of the arm to turn at all", NOT turn at all?  Use an impact wrench or a very long breaker bar.

I meant "can NOT get it to turn at all".  I've used a breaker bar and an impact wrench.

I cleaned all the grease and crude away and now I can see that the bolt has a slot in it, but my old eyes don't see any locking method.  Probably is one that I'm just not seeing.

Still need help!

I've looked through my manuals and they all say just to simply remove the nuts. The tightening torque is 67-72 ft lbs. That's moderately tight. Head bolts are less than 45 on a 510. Longer bar? Lefty loosey... righty tighty?

I ended up taking the LCA to a machine shop and they had to split the nut.  In the process they lost or destroyed the fender washer with the locking tab.  Hopefully a standard fender washer with a new M14 1.5 nylok nut will work.
