How to get brake lines out of the manifolds

Trying to get my brake line's out of the brake manifolds

With no luck!

Been spraying with PB blaster no luck!

Any ideals?

HEAT and channel locks (water pump pliers for us old guys)

This works. Add heat too. But your brake lines will likely rust if you torch them directly.

You can also tighten them.....sometimes, it's just enough to break them loose.

If a  standard wrench won't do it, vice grips work almost every time for me.

If they don't then the line get's broken off and more aggressive measures are taken, rarely comes to that though.

Cool idea tr8er. I've never thought of vice gripping the flare nut wrench. I'm going to be using that.

I've never failed to break one loose with a vice grip wrench (not pliers).

They make multiple sizes and Amazon's description leaves much to be desired.  Look up the product site to see what size jaw you want for your needs.  I just buy all the sizes so it doesn't matter :P  The thing about these is that they are strong enough to deflect the fitting and literally break free the threads...which...may not be what you want if you're not planning to replace the line :)
