Usually just fill the reservoir, (and keep checking and re filling it) pump clutch twice and hold down, open bleeder. Air and fluid comes out and stops. Sometimes fluid and air bubbles continue to self siphon, this is fine as long as the reservoir does not run dry. When it stops, close bleeder, let clutch up. Depress clutch and hold, open bleeder, let out air bubbles and fluid, close bleeder, raise clutch pedal.

Continue until you get at least three bleeds without air bubbles and only clear fluid. Tighten bleeder and let clutch up. That.... should do it.

Sometimes I will open the bleeder a bit and walk away. Let it gravity bleed and check the res every so often.

If there is a stubborn air pocket trapped inside, it may take a few days for it to bubble up to the top. Try flicking the tube with a screwdriver to get the bubbles moving.

If nothing works, take the slave apart and see if there's something wrong with it, like a scratch in the bore or something.

A scratch on the bore would allow fluid past... it would then drip out on the ground and be noticed. If the slave isn't moving far enough it's either air trapped and compressing or the master is not pushing enough fluid.

Need more info on why the slave was replaced.

If the clutch wasn't disengaging properly or engaging too soon off the floor, maybe the master is the problem and the squeezed fluid is leaking back past the plunger back into the reservoir. Changing the slave would change nothing and give the same results as it is now.
