Datsloco
Ok my Datsun Peeps lets do this.Denmarkboy and myself have arranged a Datslocos Campout. We are camping at Mt Shasta we have our own campsite reserved for the 28th thru the 30th .Some can come on friday or saturday. The campsite is called Hirz Bay Group 1 campground. The address is 100 Hirz bay rd. Lakehead 96051. You can arrive on friday anytime after 11am and anytime on saturday and Pets are allowed just keep in mind that there will be kids running around. Keep in mind we want to keep this family friendly so wear clothe at all times please. All i ask is to please pitch in like $10 to cover the campsite cost and please pick up after yourself so i dont get any extra charges on my credit card. Also bring your own food and drink. There will only be 2 large pedestal grilles that we will share so if you want you can bring your own grilles. Alot of us missed out on canby which was our loss but lets try n meet up with our other locos and any other datsun heads that want to join us on this adventure. FamilynFriends+Datsuns+Fun Run+Camping=A hell of a time 3 Quote Link to comment
denmarkboy
Hell yes ! I've done. Little camping near mt Shasta . It pretty cool there . But any where or anytime in the the middle or end of August is good with me . I will start doing some research . Anyone else do any camping on that area ? Or anywhere lose to the border that has a big enough campground for all the locos ? Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
It's going to be very hot out there that time of year, maybe coastal areas? 2 Quote Link to comment

INDY510
Patrick's Point State Park, near Eureka, has a big campground on the coast. This website says there's one group campsite for 34 cars and 100 people, but it's $450 a night: http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1117 2 Quote Link to comment

Dguy210
I'd be down, Patrick's state park looks pretty cool, just under 6 hours from the house. I know my wife and the boys would want to go, they've been asking to go camping. Are you thinking this is going to be a kids ok event? Quote Link to comment

Keep us updated with the plan, location and date and such, it's going to be a road trip for me either way and it's always nice to road trip and get out of town Quote Link to comment

denmarkboy
Technically we are talking 21 & 22 which is a Friday & Saturday night . Or 28 & the 29 . Also a Friday & Saturday . And we don't have to leave until Sunday at sundown. We are working out the dates . It would be great to hear some date feedback.on those days . O and p.s. I've already secured our choice of those weekends . But we need to pick one . Quote Link to comment
