DARIN 510
Just wanted to get the community's opinion on something. Do you guys think I should save the three stickers or just get rid of them. Reason why is that I'm gonna reprint the engine bay. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Depends on what color you choose to repaint it! Change color, and you are wasting the effort to keep the stickers. Change color but keep the sticker and you give the next owner a real problem! Quote Link to comment
DARIN 510
Sorry forgot to mention that. It's gonna be the original color. Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
Keep the stickers. At least the paint code one. The rest depends on whether you find them asthetically pleasing and care enough to remove properly and reapply them Quote Link to comment
INDY510
why not buy new stickers, and put them on after paint?? ... like these: http://www.datsunparts.com/Engine-Room-Decals-and-Stickers Quote Link to comment
GoGoGo
Keep them! As values continue to rise on these cars the more important the little pieces of character and history will be. I have the service sticker at Palo Alto Datsun from 1984 on the inside of the door frame and have no plans on taking it off ever. Quote Link to comment
edekalil
If your talking about the metel plate with all the info stamped on it in the drivers srut tower. Keep it for sure, it's original to the car. If it is held on with rivets just drill them out and use new rivets when you put it back on. Quote Link to comment
DARIN 510
Thank you guys for the input. Just trying you figure out how I'm gonna go about doing this. I'll post a pic of the stickers. I don't think anyone makes them. Besides the paint code one. Quote Link to comment
