Guest Rick-rat
Truck was delivered today and we pushed it into the carport, wouldn't start. The problem with the dist was loose wires on the matchbox module. It was supposed to have female ends on the wires instead of male ends. Didn't have the right size female connectors, so my Ratsun experience kicked in. put the ends on the top of the spade and cut off 2 more male ends and forced them into the bottom of the spade, they are in there tight now. Tried to start and wouldn't start, problem was the gas tank was empty, put some gas in the tank and a touch in the carb and fired right up, fist time I have heard it run and sounds great Things to do, license, registration, fix turn signals, fix right rear taillight, put in a new throttle cable, throttle hangs up and would not return to idle until I unhooked the cable Need to find a gas cap, fix the lock on the gas tank door.... Al, I assume that the short cable in the box is for the handbrake? Plan for now is to lower it 2 inches and put my wheels off the 620 on it That's all for now 10 Quote Link to comment

Guest Rick-rat
What are the lug nut thread size? I know my 620 lug nuts won't work on the rear of this. they should be fine for the front since the front is 720 1 Quote Link to comment

Guest Rick-rat
I donated 100.00 for tickets, but the winning ticket was free from Datzemike via Q tip, counting my trips to go work on it, hotels, food, gas, and donations and parts. probably around 900.00 7 Quote Link to comment

Guest Rick-rat
it's something in the cable, snapped right back to idle when I disconnected the linkage on the carb 1 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Webers need a light return spring the little coil spring does not have enough to pull the throttle cable back consistently. It's starting problem is because the plug wires are not the right shade of blue! LOL Congrats Rick. 3 Quote Link to comment
Guest Rick-rat
There is a light return spring, it is definitely something with the cable 2 Quote Link to comment
Jester
It's starting problem is because the plug wires are not the right shade of blue! I was going to buy a set of NGK wires in red so we could swap them out. Unfortunately, NGK only offers them in Blue. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guest Rick-rat
Today, license and title transfer, fixed the lock on the gas door, dealt with several idiots today, went to a trailer place to find a lock used on an RV door. They were different size and asked Can I take the tumbler out of what you have and put it in my lock? Answer was they don't come apart. went to a hardware store and bought a desk drawer lock, just a little mod and made it work. 7 Quote Link to comment

Guest Rick-rat
Today, pulled a bunch of stuff off my 620, removed that inner fender bed extension on the drivers side and removed that tank underneath it that was hooked to nothing. 620 hood rubbers when trimmed work until I can get the right ones, hood doesn't rattle when closed now. Got the throttle fixed too. 3 Quote Link to comment
