heywier427
I would agree that with the stock spring system, a rear strut bar is not needed. This topic has been beat to death, and I am in agreeance. I don't want to start any internet fighting. That's not what this forum is about :)But...but, with a coilover system, all the stress of the springs has now been added to the stock mounting points, which they weren't designed for. This cant hurt. Its 40 bucks, and less than 2 lbs.Again, this is in theory. This is a bolt in unit which consist of 2 Honda braces.http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALUMINUM-FRONT-UPPER-STRUT-TOWER-BAR-BRACE-88-00-CIVIC-CRX-EK-EJ-01-INTEGRA-DC-/190781389551?hash=item2c6b74faef&vxp=mtrhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/ALUMINUM-FRONT-LOWER-STRUT-BAR-BRACE-ARM-88-00-CIVIC-CRX-EK-EJ-90-01-INTEGRA-DC-/190781389546?hash=item2c6b74faea&vxp=mtrThe long one is the one to be used, and the end links/mounts of the smaller one are to be swapped onto it.Easy. And if you can find the end links/mounts its even cheaper.I was able to score it for the work I was already providing for a Honda guy. He had them laying around.I used poly sway bar link bushings, and they fit right into the mount. But really, cauze race car :) No, but really, its going to be covered by the gas tank/trunk divider. But sleeper race car, in the hiding. Quote Link to comment
