What can be draining my battery (just got new alternator)

My 620 keeps draining my battery . i hate going to auto zone to recharge it every 4 days . i have a new alternator . what can be the problem ?

 

Was this a problem before you bought the alternator?

or

did this problem start after getting a new alternator?

I'm going to try this ... when i remove my fuses do i use the tester on the sockets? It started doing it after my new alternator . were can i find my voltage regulator? I also switch my light bulbs on my marker light to some extra L.E.D i had laying around .but those are low voltage.. thanks for the video

One of two things....

 

A/ '78 and on alternators are internally regulated and do not work in the earlier trucks without making a few simple wiring changes to remove the old external regulator.

 

C/ It's possible that the new alternator was what we call 'bad in the box' or non working to begin with even though new. This is common with cheap $50 re-manufactured junk from China.
