guyster
I've got the 40mm mustache bar and Whiteline W92460 bushings. (One bushing is shorter and has a thinner lip than the other). 1. When mounting the mustache bar to the rear diff, are the the holes -- which are 1/2" off of horizontal center -- skewed toward the ground or to the underside of the car? 2. Once the bar is oriented properly, are the short bushings installed on the bottom side of the attached mustache bar? I've been looking for pics on the web and have emailed Whiteline, but haven't been successful in either pursuit. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Three B's Racing
I believe if you're rear crossmember has not been moved upwards with modifier or poly mounts you use the thick side on top. Whiteline has these crossmember poly mounts that emulate the stock location of the OEM rubber mounts. My crossmember is mounted about half the height higher then OEM so I used the thinner side but my mustache bar bushings are from another vender. 1 Quote Link to comment
guyster
Ah, that makes sense. I'm setting the crossmember at stock location / height, so the thicker bushing will go on top. (Of course, then the car won't be low enough and I'll want to take it all apart and slot the crossmember, but that's another story). Quote Link to comment

guyster
Where you getting with this? I'm gonna peek under a bunch of cars at Canby to see how others have it set up. Quote Link to comment
