datzenmike Posted May 20, 2015 Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 The absolute best reference book for a '76 620, is the Factory Service Manual (FSM) for a '76 Datsun 620 truck. Try E-Bay. Haynes shop manuals are only ... so so ok as they cover all 7 1/2 years and are very abbreviated for a small manual. It may be mission but on the under side of the hood there should be an emissions sticker with the hose routing.... it may be missing. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted May 20, 2015 Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 All the info about the 620 is fine but, for example, you have front drum brakes. All the front brake info for the '78 and '79 is for disc brake and not much use for you. Likewise the '73 ans '74 is the L16/18 engine and you have an L20B. Lots of info that you can't use on your '76. A '76 FSM is ALL about your year of truck and is more accurate and more detailed, more pictures. Quote Link to comment
